Metro Mid-Columbia Appraisal (formally Pavenick Appraisal) has been
serving the Portland Metro and Columbia Gorge areas since 1979.
Metro Mid-Columbia Consulting LLC was created in 2008.

Peter Pavenick (Oregon License L000076; Washington License 1600243)
Peter has been in the appraisal business for over 30 years.
He has a very high level of experience in solving appraisal
problems, both simple and complex.
Peter started in the appraisal business in 1976 working at
the county level (Tillamook, Wasco and Jackson).
He also worked for the Oregon State VA at the start of his
career. He has served
as an expert in court testimony.
He has been on the FHA roster since 1991.
His education began with a B.S.B.A. from the University of Denver in
Business Administration. In
addition to his appraisal license Peter has taken appraisal classes
in: small income
properties, advanced income capitalization, USPAP, appraisal
testimony in civil litigation, land use zoning, apartment investment
analysis, tax advantages of real estate, tax deferred real estate
exchange, property taxes, FHA, report writing, 2-4 family
properties, home inspection, and real estate finance.
Peter is also a licensed Real Estate Agent in Oregon with Reede
Realty.
Pete enjoys long distance running (multiple marathons) and playing guitar with friends in two bands “The Goose Creek Band” and
"Rock, Paper, Soule".
Jake Pavenick

Jake has been involved in the appraisal business since 2000. During summers and breaks from college he worked as an office assistant for Metro Mid-Columbia Appraisal. Jake graduated from the University of Oregon in 2004 with a degree in Business Administration/Sports Marketing. He received his appraisal assistant’s license in 2004 and worked as an assistant until 2006. In December of 2006 he completed his 2000 hours of experience and was licensed as an Appraiser. Jake is currently in the process of receiving his FHA approval.
Personal Info
Jake enjoys watching and playing sports including basketball, baseball
and football. He plays guitar in his spare time with his band “Up with
Thumb”. He is a devoted fan of the Oregon Ducks and Portland Trail
Blazers.
